Special projects are sometimes located in a historic site, as is the case with Kaiser Estate. This project included restoration techniques, such as resurfacing, cleaning, and repair. This project also included some new design and stone installation.

The Henry J. and Alyce Kaiser Estate was built in 1959. The residence is a one-story, International Style home inspired by Mies van der Rohe’s architectural style. The Estate underwent a major renovation that was completed in 20XX. James Thomas Stone completed the Estate’s historic restoration in 20XX.
In addition to the renovation, some areas needed drastic restoration, such as the circular travertine dining wall, and the limestone pool deck. Other areas not part of the original construction, were included, such as a sunken seating area in the covered lanai. The lanai is limestone and a sunken seating area required construction with color matching to emulate the original materials.
