Resurfacing & Coefficient Testing

The Dynamic Coefficient of Friction (DCOF) test measures how slippery a surface is when walked on. Taking measures to improve the Coefficient of Friction (COF) corresponds to the prevention of slip-fall accidents, which are contributors to injuries in both residential and commercial environments. Our proprietary resurfacing techniques will improve COF.

DCOF quantifies the resistance to the sliding motion between surfaces, such as a foot and a floor. We are the only company in Hawaii to provide this test. To demonstrate the effectiveness of our services, you will receive the before-and-after DCOF report.

Pool Deck Resurfacing & Coefficient Testing

Our specialized equipment will clean, remove stains, resurface, and improve the coefficient of friction (COF) of your pool deck. We will take the necessary precautions to protect your pool, residents, guests, and staff while improving your pool deck. According to the National Safety Council, slip-falls are the leading cause of workers' compensation claims.

The DCOF test is used in real-world conditions involving motion, such as walking on a wet surface. We are the only company in Hawaii to offer this specialized resurfacing service, DCOF testing, and provide before-and-after reports.

Stone Care & Maintenance

Stone maintenance is crucial for both the aesthetic appeal and structural integrity, as it is subject to wear, weathering, and age. Let our clean and seal services help you maintain and preserve your stone surfaces. Stain removal is one of our top-requested services. Difficult stains and uneven edges (or lips) may require some resufacing during the first service. Water features should have a regular maintenance schedule to decrease mineral deposit buildup, known as efflorescence.

Stain and Efflorescence Removal

Efflorescence is a gradual buildup of mineral deposits or salts that are naturally occurring and are very difficult to remove. Efflorescence occurs around faucets and water features. The photo above shows efflorescence on and near a water feature, wherever water touched the stone, there is a white or cloudy appearance, an evidence of mineral deposits.
